Terms of Use

Acceptance

By using Carvest (“Carvest”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Carvest is

Carvest is an informational tool that compares keeping the vehicle you own against buying a different one over a fixed projection window. It produces estimates, scores, and written explanations based on the information you enter and on data from third-party and government sources.

Financial disclaimer

Carvest provides informational decision-support estimates only. Carvest is not a lender, financial adviser, broker, insurance company, insurance agent or producer, vehicle dealer, tax adviser, or attorney, and nothing in the product is financial, investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice.

You should independently verify purchase terms, financing terms, taxes and fees, insurance costs, vehicle valuations, and vehicle condition and history before acting on anything Carvest shows you.

Estimates and no guaranteed outcome

Every figure Carvest produces is an estimate. Real outcomes depend on the deal you negotiate, your credit, your actual driving, local market conditions, fuel and electricity prices, maintenance and repair events, taxes and fees, and other factors outside Carvest's control. Carvest does not guarantee any savings, valuation, payment, cost, or result.

Vehicle pricing, valuations, and listings

Market values, trade estimates, and vehicle listings come from third-party data providers. They may be incomplete, delayed, mispriced, or no longer available. A listing shown in Carvest is not an offer, and Carvest does not sell vehicles, arrange financing, or broker transactions.

Third-party links and services

Carvest may link to dealer, seller, or provider websites. Carvest does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices.

AI-generated explanations

Ask Carvest uses a third-party AI model to explain your comparison in plain language. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, may reflect model limitations, and should not be relied on as professional advice. Treat it as an explanation of the estimates, not as a verified statement of fact.

Lawful use and your responsibility

You agree to use Carvest lawfully and not to misuse it — including attempting to circumvent rate limits or security controls, scraping or bulk-extracting data, reverse-engineering the service, interfering with its operation, or submitting content that infringes on others' rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for any decision you make.

Intellectual property

Carvest, including its scoring models, methodology, interface, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of Carvest or its licensors. Third-party data remains the property of its respective owners. You may use Carvest for your own personal, non-commercial vehicle decisions.

Availability

Carvest is provided on an evolving basis and may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice. Some features depend on third-party services that may be unavailable.

Warranty disclaimer

Carvest is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carvest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or losses arising from any vehicle, financing, insurance, or tax decision made in reliance on Carvest. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Carvest, which is currently zero.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.

Governing law

Carvest is offered from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. The governing law and venue for disputes will be specified here once Carvest's operating legal entity and jurisdiction are established.
