What the comparison covers
Both paths are measured over the same window. On the keep path, that includes remaining loan payments, insurance, fuel or charging, maintenance, repairs and what the car is likely worth at the end. On the buy path, it includes the trade-in, taxes and fees, the new financing, running costs and the replacement's projected value after 36 months.
How Carvest reaches a recommendation
